The 2017 ‘Campaign to Help Those With Intellectual Disabilities’ led by Heman Romero was very successful. $4000 was donated from our community and the IHM parishioners. $1000 was sent to help Special Olympics of Delaware, the remainder going to the
Mission: To provide services and needed help to the local community. Activities include Ronald McDonald House Dinner, Tootsie Roll Campaign, Souper Bowl Sunday, Special Olympics Soccer Challenge.

The Veterans hospital bingo social sponsored by the KofC was held on 4/8. This is a quarterly event. Thanks to the following IHM Knights who volunteered their time : Jon Gatta, Paul Hopkins, and Ed Connolly.
Our ‘Souper Bowl’ food collection took place last weekend (2/5-6), and was very successful. Over 1000 pounds of non-perishables was collected and given to the Holy Rosary food pantry. Also $1300 was collected which will be presented to IHM Outreach
The Santa Maria Council was present in full force one night in December to help prepare Christmas stocking for our soldiers. We are proud to work with a wonderful local charity, Stockings for Soldiers. See below for the official statement
For Christmas, the council adopted 3 veterans families associated with the Elsmere Veterans Hospital. Over $500 in gifts were contributed to them.

This years ‘Souper Bowl’ food collection was another success. We collected over 1000 pounds of non-perishable food and $600 in donations. The food collected was delivered to the Holy Rosary food pantry, and Sister Catherine there was very appreciative of the help
The IHM Knights of Columbus annual ‘Souper Bowl Sunday’ food drive will be held before each Mass on Saturday 1/31/15 and Sunday 2/1/15 (Super Bowl Sunday). Donations of canned and other non-perishables foods will be collected in the IHM gathering area before each
